In its role as a consultant, BlackEagle works with owners of real estate (borrowers) as they work with their lenders seeking relief under their loan documents. These loans are typically owned by banks, bridge lenders or packaged into commercial mortgage bank securities (CMBS) and involve negotiating with various third-parties (banks, bridge lenders, servicers, bondholders, etc.) whom the borrower needs to seek the consent and approval of to amend or modify their loan documents.

BlackEagle's insight and guidance on loan workouts and restructurings, including navigating the complex CMBS space and servicing agreements, allows us to develop a range of viable solutions. Clients benefit from the company’s ability to create solutions rather than roadblocks, advise on capital structure and disposition alternatives, source new capital, and effectively communicate with all parties, including the master or special servicer or the controlling bondholders.


  • Assisting with the underwriting of the real estate and reviewing various third-party documents, such as appraisal, property condition, and environmental reports, and loan documents.
